Service Description
Initial Consultations are FREE and will require 20 min to discuss the needs of the owner / dog. This is a required meet & greet, and takes place with our Certified Dog Trainer prior to any training sessions or packages being purchased. The trainer works on an individual basis to find out the needs of the dog and the wanted behaviours or behaviour modifications that the owner and/or handler request and require. After the first required training session has taken place, then a Treatment Plan is put in place for the owner and the dog(s) to work from, in their home. The Treatment plan is only Force-Free training methods without the use of aversive training tools (no pinch collars, no shock collars, no physical corrections, no choke chains), to help the dog and owner / handler continue on with the training once the dog is back in its own environment, home, etc. Any and all of the services below are available once an Initial Consultation has been done: - Private sessions of 1 hour per session, with the owner and/or handler and one dog(s). This schedule and location is flexible. - Board and Train consisting of 4 Consecutive Weeks, 1 day a week for 4 hours - Daytime Only - Board and Train - Overnight Options (at least 5 days/nights in a row) - Massage Therapy for your dog(s) - Puppy Classes for ages 2-6 mth old puppies for 5 weeks (not available at this time) - Basic Obedience Classes for all ages for 6 weeks (not available at this time) - Online/Remote Dog Training
Cancellation Policy
Trainer agrees to provide training services to Client, while Client agrees to provide remuneration for training services and adhere to all training guidelines as per the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement. Trainer agrees to provide behaviour-modification information and training. -Client understands that learning all of the stated cues could take a minimum of seven (7) weeks, and that unwanted behaviour resolutions may take much longer. As such, the weekly sessions may continue until the problem behaviours are resolved to best of the Trainer’s ability. -Client agrees to follow all Trainer instructions/recommendations, which may include veterinary health checks, nutrition suggestions, product purchases, daily homework for basic training cues, behaviour modification exercises and practices. -Trainer makes no guarantees of your dog's cue performance or behaviour as a result of the training sessions. Payment: Client agrees to pay rates as agreed to by Trainer for services provided. For Canadian Clients - Payments by e-transfer to info@muttsden.com (preferred), cash or cheque, credit card (processing fees extra). For US & International Clients - Payments by e-transfer to info@muttsden.com (preferred), or credit card (processing fees extra). All fees are nonrefundable. Cancellations: If Client fails to give at least 24-hour cancellation notice, or fails to appear for the scheduled appointment, the training fees will still be owed. Liability Limitations: If your dog causes property damage, bites or injures any animal or person, during or after training sessions, Trainer is not liable for any resulting losses and damages suffered or incurred, or any resulting claims, demands, lawsuits, costs or expenses, including attorney fees. If your dog is injured during or after training sessions, Trainer is not liable of any resulting injuries, losses, damages, costs or expenses. Termination of Agreement: With reasonable cause, either Trainer or Client may terminate this Agreement, effective immediately upon the receipt of written notice. Reasonable cause includes: Material violation of any terms within this Agreement. Any act exposing the other party to liability to others for personal injury, property damage or financial distress, such as loss of income or bankruptcy. This Agreement contains the entire agreement and all suits and special proceedings under this Agreement, be construed in accordance with and governed by the laws of British Columbia.
